Ukrainian entrepreneurs purchase growing tangerines from Georgia

According to information of Fruit-Inform Project, Ukrainian importers are actively purchasing tangerines in Georgia. As to Georgian trade companies, Ukrainian companies began to compete with Georgian ones even at domestic market purchasing growing tangerines already in October.

Currently, the first batches of Georgian tangerines are already delivered to Ukraine, although Turkish ones are as before prevailing at the market. At the same time, it should be noted that certain growth of prices for tangerines is experienced, as market operators tells of stoppages in supplies of them.

Also, we should remind that tangerines already for 2 years are more popular fruit category among Ukrainians than oranges, and third in consumption volumes after apples and bananas.
