All about potatoes, onions, cabbages, carrots, and beets (borsch vegetables) in Lvov, February 24

Potatoes, onions, cabbages, carrots, and beets. These are vegetables which were the basis of program of the third international conference “Potato and Vegetables of Ukraine-2011”, the event that will traditionally take place at ORSP Shuvar, 4 b Khutorovka str., Lvov, Ukraine, February 24-25, 2011.

Organizers plan to give delegates not general, but detailed information on borsch vegetable market, from producing areas and price situation to potato, onion, cabbage, carrot, and beet growing, harvesting, post harvest handling, storage, and marketing technologies in Ukraine.

Traditionally, borsch vegetable production and price forecast for the current and next seasons will be announced during the conference.

Regular meeting of Potato Association of Ukraine, within which a number of its members is to be increased, will be another important event. But holding of training seminar for potato producers in Ukraine “Production of high-quality potatoes is the business of professionals” February 25 will be the principal novelty of the conference.

We expect about 150 delegates from 10 countries of the world to take part in the conference this year. Not less than a half of them are potato and vegetable producers.
