Kazakhstan harvests over 16 mln t of grain

As of September 30 Kazakhstan's farmers harvested grain from 93 percent of the area or 13.16 million hectares, web-server Gazeta.kz has informed. The amount of harvested grain is 16.4 million tonnes, the average yield - 1.25 tonne per hectare. According to agriculture ministry, grain harvest in the country will be completed till mid-October.

Total grain area in Kazakhstan this year is 13.73 million hectares.
