EU ready to import Ukrainian organic produce
To enter the EU fruit and vegetable market, Ukrainian producers should focus primarily on growing high-quality organic crops. This was said by Mr. Eduard Bloch, Senior Consultant of SIPPO (Switzerland), at the 8th International Conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine – 2011. New Exporter”.
“Ukrainian farms have a good chance to expand their fruit and vegetable sales channels and enter the European market in the event of paying more attention not to prices, but production of high-quality organic produce”, Mr. Bloch was quoted as saying.
