Ukraine's largest project on production of frozen fruits and vegetables for end consumers will be presented at the 4th International Conference “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012”.
Smelianska Chlodnia will be put into operation in Smela (Cherkasy region, Ukraine) in 2012. The first year's production capacity will amount to no less than 10,000 tonnes. In 2013, the factory plans to increase its annual production to 15,000 tonnes. Smelianska Chlodnia estimates to cover about 40% of all internal demand for frozen produce in Ukraine in the nearest years.
As, for the present, the enterprise has no own raw material base, its top-priority task is to conclude contracts with suppliers. You are able to meet with Smelianska Chlodnia managers at 4th International Conference “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012”, President Hotel, Kiev, Ukraine, February 16-17, 2012. To register your participation, please, fill out an application form.
We would also remind you that more detailed information about Ukrainian and Russian frozen produce markets is available in the first fundamental study “The Market for Frozen Fruits, Berries, and Vegetables of Ukraine and Russia”. Fruit-Inform has conducted the study by means of its own information that enables to show the real situation in the market, which significantly differs from the official statistics.
