Rye being deposited into state reserve
Ukraine's Committee for State Reserve has started depositing rye grain into the state reserves, the Committee's Head Mykola Pesotsky has informed today.
He said 10,000 tonnes of milling rye had already been supplied for deposition into state reserve storage. A bread products combine in Khmelnytski Region is responsible for the supplies.
At the end of October Ukrainian bread baking industry expressed concern about possible deficit of rye bread in Ukrainian market in the nearest time, because of low stocks of rye grain in domestic market. The Agrarian Policy Ministry has also been worried by the situation.
