Russia: rates of price growth for wheat flour increased
According to State Statistics Committee of Russian Federation, in February the rates of the price growth for wheat flour in Russia increased and reached 6.6 percent (in January - 2.9 percent).
However, the price growth for bread and bakery products in February somewhat decelerated. Thus, the prices for rye and mixed rye/wheat bread increased 3.2 percent (4.6 percent in January), for the bread, baked from top grade wheat flour - 2.8 percent (4 percent in January).
