Kuchma believes government's priority for 2004 is organisation and regulation of agricultural market
The government's priority for 2004 is organisation and regulation of the agricultural market of Ukraine, and first of all, the sphere of commercial and intermediate sellings, Leonid Kuchma the President of Ukraine said in his annual massage to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
"Main directions of production flows through the disorderly commercial channels distribution with clouded buy-and-sell conditions, definition of products quantity, quality and prices lead to significant finance wastes of the branch", it is noticed in the massage.
L. Kuchma considers it is necessary to develop agricultural products exchange trade to 10-15 percent of total grain, sunflower seeds and sugar turnover. The government has to expand reserve, intervention, mortgage and regional purchases of grain, sunflower seeds, sugar and other products as well, and develops their sellings through the exchanges and trade houses.
According to the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers and the executive authorities have to provide the significant net expansion of agritrade houses, cooperates, stock and distribution structures, refrigerating, logistics and other services, to provide wholesale depots using.
