Growing demand for Gala and Golden Delicious apples in Poland

According to Polish growers, sales of Gala and Golden Delicious apples grew in the country last week. In view of growing demand and higher sales, prices of those apples also went up by 5-7%. Current prices of Gala apples reached 0.30-0.40 euro/kg, while Golden Delicious apples are offered at 0.28-0.35 euro/kg, depending on size.

As regards exports, Russia remains the main export market for Polish apples.
