Serbia halves apple exports to Russia
Serbia has lowered apple exports to the Russian Federation by 49% to 16,400 tonnes in the first 5 months of the season 2012/13 compared with the same period of the previous season.
In such a way, in July-November 2012, Serbia ranked fifth in apple exports to Russia, while a year earlier this country was the fourth largest apple exporter to the Russian Federation with the export volumes at 32,000 tonnes.
Moreover, in the same period of 2010, Serbia ranked third with the apple export volumes amounting to 36,700 tonnes.
