Production of broiler meat in Ukraine will increase 35-40 pc in 2004
Association "The Union of Poultry-Breeders of Ukraine" forecasts that in 2004 the production of broiler meat in Ukraine will increase 35 to 40 percent - to 257,000-266,000 tonnes, the press-service of the Association has informed with reference to its President Yuri Kosiuk.
According to Kosiuk, the increase in production must be attributed to domestic demand for chicken meat, which is currently not completely met.
