Russia increases apple puree imports
According to Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, Russia keeps on increasing apple puree imports. In February 2013, the country doubled apple puree imports month-on-month to about 3,700 tonnes, record high result for February.
Cumulative imports over 8 months of the season 2012/13 reached record high 18,000 tonnes, an increase of 40% from the same period of the previous season.
