Russia increases fruit and vegetable juice imports from China
According to Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, Russia imported 4,900 tonnes of Chinese fruit and vegetable juices in February 2013, an increase of 40% from the same month of the previous year, when China's exports to Russia had reached just 3,500 tonnes.
It should be noted that China keeps on leading in Russia's fruit and vegetable juice imports. Russia's cumulative imports of Chinese juices over the first 8 months of the current season amounted to 39,000 tonnes, an increase of 27% year-on-year. In such a way, China's share in Russia's imports reached 25%.
