Ukraine's imports of Polish apples up
According to Fruit-Inform, Polish apples continue to increase their presence in the Ukrainian market. An increase in shipments was favored by rapid reduction of domestic apple stocks in Ukraine, which are almost fully exhausted.
At the same time, prices of both Polish and Ukrainian apples are not revised in the country. Ex-farm sales of domestic apples are conducted at UAH 4-6/kg (EUR 0.39-0.59/kg). Imported apples are offered at no lower than UAH 7.00-7.50/kg (EUR 0.68-0.73/kg).
