Polish exporters prefer Gala apples
Polish exporters keep on actively purchasing apples.
For the present, Gala variety is the most popular among exporters in Poland. Growers' prices of those apples vary between 0.26-0.36 euro/kg, which is 3-4% lower compared with last year.
Other apples are sold at 0.20-0.24 euro/kg, a decrease of 15% year-on-year.
The demand for apples is still moderate in Poland, which does not enable Polish growers to raise prices of their produce.
