Domestic cucumber season to end soon in Poland
The domestic cucumber season is coming to an end in Poland. Lower average daily temperatures led to a decrease in cucumber outputs, and prices of Polish produce jumped to 1.19-1.43 euro/kg.
In their turn, importers connect higher prices of Polish cucumbers with an increase in the price levels of Spanish produce.
The market operators expect the domestic cucumber season to come to an end in several days with the market now being supplied with last large amounts of Polish cucumbers.
