Ukraine's imports of mandarins grow tenfold in October!

According to Fruit-Inform analysts, Ukraine has sharply raised mandarin imports in October 2013.

Ukraine's imports in October amounted to 11,000 tons, 10 times of the import volumes in the previous month, when Ukrainian importers purchased just 1,200 tons of mandarins. Mandarin prices in October 2013 varied between 0.89-1.34 euro/kg, a decrease of 7-9% compared with the same month of the previous year.

Ukraine's cumulative imports of mandarins in September-October 2013 reached 12,000 tons, 2.5 times of the import volumes in the same period of the previous season. Turkey was the leader in mandarin exports to Ukraine with the share of 68%.
