Poland: stable prices of Gala and Golden Delicious apples
The Polish market participants say of still stable prices of Gala and Golden Delicious apples in the country despite rather high demand from exporters.
At the same time, exporters raise their requirements to produce.
For the present, exporters purchase Golden Delicious apples from CA-storage at 0.37-0.42 euro/kg (size 70+). Golden Delicious apples from cold storage are bought at 0.33-0.37 euro/kg.
Purchase prices of Gala apples vary between 0.37-0.44 euro/kg (size 65+) and 0.42-0.54 euro/kg, depending on quality and variety.
