Poland: prices of export-quality table beets up
The Polish market participants say of more active exports of table beets to the Central and Eastern European countries.
As a result, prices of export-quality table beets started growing in Poland.
For the present, growers sell table beets at 0.16-0.21 euro/kg. Wholesale prices vary between 0.23-0.26 euro/kg.
Polish exporters also say of higher competition with suppliers from the UK and the Netherlands in the Central and Eastern European countries.
