Ukraine: fall in cauliflower prices at wholesale markets
According to Fruit-Inform daily price monitoring, cauliflower prices have sharply fallen at Ukrainian wholesale markets.
For the present, cauliflowers are offered at UAH 8.50-9.50/kg (EUR 0.51-0.57/kg) at Shuvar Wholesale Market, Lviv, a decrease of 30-35% week-on-week and 15-20% lower than registered in the same period of the previous season.
Meanwhile, prices at Krymskiy Privoz Wholesale Market, Simferopol, decreased by 70% to UAH 13/kg (EUR 0.78/kg), almost similar to last year's price levels.
The sharpest decrease in cauliflower prices was observed at Kopani Wholesale Market, Kherson Region, where sellers offered produce at UAH 8.50-9.50/kg (EUR 0.51-0.57/kg), half as high as registered in the previous week, but 20% higher than a year before.
