Ukraine: prices of Golden Delicious apples up week-on-week
Golden Delicious apples have become 25% more expensive at Stolychnyi Wholesale Market, Kiev, Ukraine, over a week.
For the present, wholesalers are ready to ship those apples at UAH 12-13/kg (EUR 0.74-0.80/kg), while a week before prices were not higher than UAH 11/kg (EUR 0.68/kg). The market participants connect the price growth with rather limited and falling supply of apples in the country.
We would remind you that in the same period of the previous season apples were 15% less expensive than today.
