Poland: plum prices significantly up year-on-year
Current prices of plums are averagely 50% higher year-on-year in Poland.
Now they vary between 0.24-0.29 euro/kg against just 0.14-0.19 euro/kg in the same period of the previous year.
A year-on-year rise in prices is connected with lower production of plums in Poland. Both production volumes and quality of produce have seriously suffered from low average daily temperatures during blossoming and minimum rainfall during ripening.
