Strawberry prices down in Crimea year-on-year

Strawberry prices continue to go down in Crimea and have already fallen below last year’s levels, according to Fruit-Inform.

Now sellers from Krymsky Privoz Wholesale Market, Simferopol, offer their strawberries at RUB 150-380/kg (USD 2.63-6.67/kg), depending on quality and variety, a decrease of 5-17% week-on-week.

It should also be noted that the price situation was different in the same period of the previous year. Taking into account a seasonal decrease in supply, sellers were actively raising their prices, which were 18-20% higher than present levels.
