Milling wheat share in Russia's total wheat crop is 70 pc - Russia's bread inspectorate

According to the data of Russia's State Bread Inspectorate as of September 2, while inspecting 22.9 million tonnes of new crop wheat (67 percent of total amount) the inspectors estimated that the part of bread wheat in this amount is 70 percent (16 million tonnes), which is 1 percent up from last week. The percentage of 3rd class wheat is 27 percent, increasing 2 percent from last week. The amount of 4th class wheat is 43 percent of the analysed amount (near 10 million tonnes, 1 percent down from last weak).

Feed wheat is 30% or 6.9 million tonnes.

The Inspectorate informed on September 2 that while testing 1.8 million tonnes of rye (64% of the total new crop) it found out that the amount of food quality rye comes up to 80 percent or 1.4 million tonnes, which is 6 percent more than as of the same period last year.
