"Agroexport" to ship a cargo of sunoil from newly built filling terminal in Nikolaev

According to preliminary information, Nikolaev-based company Agroexport Ltd is going to ship a 3,000-tonne cargo of sunflower oil until the end of this week from its newly commissioned filling terminal, located in Nikolaev river port. The first cargo of the oil, produced at Agroexport's oil extraction plant Extrol, is scheduled for shipment to Italy, a spokesman for Agroexport told an APK-Inform reporter.

The oil extraction plant Extrol, put in operation in December 2003, is located on the territory of Nikolaev river port, which, in conjunction with the new filing terminal, rids the company from inland transportation expenditures in trade of sunoil. The plant has 6,000 tonnes of storage capacity and 500 tonnes of daily production capacity.

Agroexport is one of Ukraine's largest grain and oilseed trading companies. Besides the above-mentioned oil extraction plant and shipment terminal, the company owns 12 grain elevators.
