"Furshet" is not for sale anymore? Or it is going to be sold for more expensive price?

The specialists of Agricultural Marketing Project (AMP) with reference to the sources close to the management of "Furshet" supermarket chain inform about ambitious plans of the company to extend the chain in the regions of Ukraine in 2005. It is reported that the company owns for this moment 30 stores and plans to open about 50 new stores next year, Moreover, the company is going to enter the regions of the country actively, where the competition is not so severe. It is also reported that the southern region of Ukraine will be of first priority for new stores establishment.

This information sounds rather interesting on the background of recent statements of the Russian retailer "Perekrestok" concerning their plans to purchase "Furshet" supermarket chain. Moreover, even "Furshet" management has not denied its interests in that bargain. In this respect the talks about sufficient chain extension mean either unwillingness of "Garantia Trade" company to sell its supermarkets or its desire to increase the cost of ""Furshet" supermarket chain for maximum with the aim to sell it for the higher price.
