WJ company opened sunoil shipment terminal in Kherson

On November 18 company WJ has opened a terminal for reception and transhipment of sunflower oil in south-Ukrainian port city of Kherson.

At the opening ceremony General Director of Khersones Ltd (the affiliate company of WJ, created specially for the purpose of constructing the terminal) Olexandr Sabelko said that the total cost of construction works was about $2 million. Rated shipment capacity of the facility is 834 tonnes per day or 25,000 tonnes per month. WJ company plans to handle at the terminal 200,000 to 250,000 tonnes of the loads per year. Sabelko said the cost of transportation of one tonne of oil is estimated in about $5.5 to 5.7. He said that the terminal would provide for loading and transportation of vegoil by river and marine transport of up to 10,000 tonnes of displacement.

Company WJ was established in 1989 in New York. In Ukraine the company is represented by several affiliates, whose business is grain and oilseeds trade, shipment, transportation and storage.
