The beginning of Advent may lead to the price growth on vegetables and fruits and price decrease on meat

Yesterday the orthodox Advent started, to be finished on the 7th of January 2005. At Advent time the consumption of meat is traditionally constrained; while the demand on fish, vegetables and fruits is growing. In this respect a certain price stabilization for beet crops is possible (these commodities have been cheapening recently); and the price growth trend for warm-requiring vegetables and fruits which are not produced in a winter time will strengthen too.

Besides, a moderate decrease of average prices on meat is possible; this commodity has got up rather extremely this year. We'd note that in the recent weeks the price growth trend has been changed by the stable prices caused by the demand decrease as a result of a high price of meat commodities. The demand on chicken increased sufficiently; still past week the retail prices on meat remained practically stable. Still, their range somewhat extended because of insufficient decrease of the minimum price level and nearly alike maximum price level growth.
