The $23.9 mln, provided to the State Reserve, will be split between purchases of grain, foodstuffs and fuel
The 127 million hryvnias (about $23.9 million, at the current official rate), allocated to the Committee for State Reserves of Ukraine in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers' order of October 14 this year, will have to be directed on the purchases of grain, foodstuffs and light petroleum products - such order was signed by the head of government on November 25.
The original order of the Cabinet of Ministers provided that this sum will be allocated exclusively for purchases of the 2004 crop grain.
The funds, allocated to the Committee, have been set aside in the 2004 state budget for increasing material values of the state reserve.
