The production of canned vegetables decreased in January on 17%

According to the official data of the operational statistics, the production of canned vegetables in Ukraine in January 2005 amounted to 2,760 tons that means the contraction of production volumes on 17% (551 tons) comparing to the previous month.

At the same time, comparing to January 2004 the significant production markup was obvious, the production increase amounted to 84%.

The greatest volumes of the mentioned commodity were produced in Odesa (846 tons) and Kherson (731 tons) oblasts in the previous month.
