Council of Importers was founded in Ukraine - Cabinet of Ministers
A Council of Importers was founded in Ukraine under the Cabinet of Ministers. Yuliya Timoshenko, the Prime-Minister of Ukraine, signed the appropriate government regulation #176 of the ninth of March, 2005.
According to the regulation, the Council of Importers is a constantly acting consultative and deliberative body. Its main tasks are:
- Preparation of the recommendation about the state economic policy creating in import;
- Taking part in examination of different bills on commodities import and prevention of unfair competition on the domestic market;
- Working out the projects about custom formalities improvement;
- Preparation of the recommendation about development of the system of certificated import commodities and informational providing of foreign-economic activity;
- Assistance to effective co-operation of executive bodies and entrepreneurs in import.
The Council of Importers staff, approved by the Enclosure to the regulation, accounts 20 members.
