Russians come to Crimea for radish

As is known, Crimea possesses perfect weather conditions for the production of early vegetable commodities; however they have nearly not been used until recent time. Still "Crimea" is brand, and in spring the buyers from the northern region of Ukraine and even other countries rush there hoping to purchase cheap and high-quality early vegetables.

This year radish meets the most intensive demand. Aleksander Lekhno, the Market Information Specialist of Crimean office, Agricultural Marketing Project, informs that the wholesale price on this commodity is USD $ 0.32 for bunch. From time to time the large buyers from Russia and remote regions of Ukraine purchase the wholesale parties of radish on USD $ 0.37 for bunch.

The situation with the early tomatoes is not as good in Crimea as we'd like to. Cold spring did not let the greenhouse complexes achieve good tomato harvest and delayed ripening of this commodity for some weeks.
