Demand on radish go up in Ukraine and the prices on it too
According to the data of daily monitoring of the wholesale prices on fruits and vegetables in Ukraine, the demand on radish goes on increasing on market. The price on this commodity is also growing. The average price on radish jumped up to USD $ 1.18/kg on the wholesale market "Farmer" in Kyiv.
At this time the cheapest radish can be bought on the wholesale market "Kopani", Kherson oblast, where the supply is very great. The major sets of this commodity are sold on USD $ 0.75/kg, still it is possible to purchase radish on USD $ 0.69/kg. As Roman Rybalko, the Price Monitoring Specialist of Agricultural Marketing Project, informed, the main purchasers of the radish wholesale sets on "Kopany" market are the intermediary buyers from Donetsk oblast.
In Lviv on the wholesale market "Shuvar" the prices on radish are close to Kyiv and comprise USD $ 1.08-1.38/kg. These prices may increase insignificantly before the May holidays; at least some producers hope for it.
