Revaluation of UA hryvnya to cause difficulties for national producers - V. Yushchenko
Revaluation of Ukrainian hryvnya will first of all cause difficulties for national producers, - said Victor Yushchenko, President of Ukraine in his interview.
According to his words, revaluation of UA hryvnya complicates business conditions for local producers. He emphasized that particularly national producers should be the target business category of government policy.
President of Ukraine negatively treats any abrupt change of money value because it undermines stability of national currency, which has been created for years.
Yushchenko pointed that he approved the policy of National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and the government concerning hryvnya strengthening, but he considers such actions should be profoundly thought over and discussed. The president expects NBU and the government to elaborate a program of mutual collaboration, which will let the government to carry out successful social policy and will let NBU to support stability of hryvnya
According to the words of the president, foreign investments inflow increases day by day, which have already been a trend. So it is vitally important to elaborate new concept of strengthening the rate of hryvnya to avoid suffering of exporters and people who save money in US dollars.
