Belarus: grain sowing campaign will be finished until May 5
Grain sowing campaign in Belarus is expected to finish until May 5, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Vasiliy Pavlovskiy. He emphasized that recent rains were utmost favourable for winter and spring crops to boost growing. More dangerous were light frosts in some regions, which damaged some early spring plantings. Damaged plantings will be re-sown if necessary. Belarus has a special insurance fund for such purposes.
