The price on radish dropped down five times this week cause the harvest from the open ground came on market
This week the price on radish decreased five times on the wholesale market "Kopani", Kherson oblast. At this moment the price is fluctuating within USD $ 0.09-0.13/kg and mostly radish is sold on USD $ 0.12/kg. This information was provided by Roman Rybalko, the Price Monitoring specialist of Agricultural Marketing Project (AMP). To the specialist's opinion, such abrupt price drop is connected with the large supplies of radish produced on the open ground, which self-cost is much lower.
At the same time, according to the results of price monitoring on the wholesale market "Farmer" in Kyiv, the wholesale price on radish was today USD $ 0.39-0.45/kg. We can suppose that soon the price on radish falls down significantly in Kyiv too.
