New supermarket "Poltava" is opened in Poltava
Poltava chain of supermarket stores "Poltava" opened the first supermarket in one of huge "bedroom community" districts of the city. It is of cash&carry format. The opening of the supermarket exited interest among the local population. To the moment the supermarket is visited by many people despite of the fact that it neighbors to a rather large bazaar; so that it proves an increased level of population standards of life. To the opinion of Yuriy Konyayev, the Market Information Specialist of Poltava office, Agricultural Marketing Project, the supermarkets have future in Poltava. Soon we'll be able to see the opening of other supermarkets - both of local retail chains and national or even international. To this moment, as the specialist think, this niche is not occupied fully in the city.
