Agroexport Ltd acquired loans from a Ukrainian bank

Kiev-based bank NRB-Ukraine granted Open Joint Stock Company "Agroexport", basing in Nikolaev (south of Ukraine), two loans in the amounts of $1.8 million and 3.85 million hryvnias (5.06 hryvnias = $1) for replenishment of current assets, a representative of NRB-Ukraine said on June 1.

The terms of the credits are not disclosed.

Agroexport Ltd is one of the largest grain traders of Ukraine. It operates oil extraction plant "Extrol" with 500 tonnes of daily capacity, grain elevators and marine fleet.

Commercial bank "NRB-Ukraine" was incorporated on June 15, 2001. According to the National Bank of Ukraine's data, as of April 1, 2005 the bank was ranking 43rd in the size of total assets among the banks of Ukraine.
