Apricot, melon and peach are already on the markets of Ukraine
Apricots of national origin appeared on Ukrainian markets in the end of past week. The wholesale price on them changed from USD $ 4.95-5.93/kg past Thursday to USD $ 1.78-1.97/kg in Kyiv and USD $ 1.18-1.38/kg in Kherson oblast. It is logically assumed that price is going to decrease further in the nearest future.
According to the information provided by Roman Rybalko, the Wholesale Price Monitoring Specialist in Kherson oblast, Agricultural Marketing Project, melon has appeared today on market foк the first time this year. The wholesale price on this commodity is now USD $ 2.96/kg.
Peach can also be purchased on the markets, though only imported, but the price on peach has started to decrease already. So, peach of Greek origin can be bought on Kyiv and Crimean markets on the wholesale price USD $ 2.37-2.96/kg.
