Large sets of bulb onion "dropped" the prices on this commodity in Kyiv

Some large bulk sets of bulb onion were supplied today to the wholesale market in Kyiv city; the excess of this commodity and the correspondent decrease of the wholesale price were observed. Today it was possible to purchase onion even on USD 0.16/kg on Farmer wholesale market, if a relatively large set was purchased. According to the data of the daily wholesale price monitoring conducted by the Agricultural Marketing Project, the majority of onion can be bought on USD 0.18/kg.

Just for comparison - past week the producers from the southern regions of Ukraine sold onion out of filed on USD 0.24-0.3/kg.
