Last week Ukraine has started exporting new crop wheat

Last week Ukraine exported 31,000 tonnes of new crop wheat.

In total during last week 111,200 tonnes of grains and products was exported from Ukraine, which is twice up compared to the previous week. In particular Ukrainian ports shipped 91,300 tonnes of wheat, which is by 6 times up from the previous week.

Also increased shipments of rye - by 73 percent to 5,200 tonnes, wheat bran - by 11 percent to 5,260 tonnes.

At the same time exports of feed maize declined.

The only crop, which showed decrease last week, was feed maize (-69 percent) due to fulfilment of current contracts. It was the second week when feed barley was not exported. Almost in all the ports accumulation of barley, wheat and peas is carried out.

During the current week we expect new crop barley exports to start.
