Belarus will import plant protection chemicals free of tax

Belarus' leader Alexander Lukashenko July 28 issued instructions to eliminate all import duties for plant protection materials.

Lukashenko said that a considerable sum of 11 billion Belarusian roubles had been refunded to agrarians as a compensation for imported plant protection chemicals before. Last year the value of imports totalled $22 million.
