Bird flu in Russia has been eliminated - ag. minister

Situation with bird flu in Russia has been normalised, the infection nidi have been localised, Russian Minister of Agriculture Aleksey Gordeyev was cited by local media as saying at a news conference.

He said that bird flu was not currently registered in any industrial or agricultural facility, nor in private households.

"Bird flu in Russia has been eliminated," said the minister.
