Ukraine: Siberian plague case registered in Odessa Oblast
In Odessa Oblast of Ukraine a Siberian plague case has been registered. Ministry for Emergency Situations informed that a piglet had died on Monday in a private household in a village of Ivanovka Raion. On Tuesday, December 27 the regional veterinary laboratory confirmed diagnosis of Siberian plague in the dead animal.
The carcass of the dead animal has been burnt. The specialists of local sanitary & epidemiological station are taking anti-epidemic measures in the infection nidus.
