Deaths of poultry were registered in 40 settlements of Crimea - health ministry

As of January 23 this year the cases of poultry deaths were registered in 40 settlements of the AR of Crimea, press service of Ukraine's Health Ministry said in a release. It said in 23 of the settlements the bird flu virus type H5 had been confirmed by laboratory tests.

It also said that there had been no information about bird deaths caused by a bird flu virus in other regions of Ukraine.
