Ukraine's production of jams, fruit jelly, fruit puree, fruit and nut paste is growing rapidly

Official statistics of Ukraine reported that some 6.26 thousand tons of jams, fruit jelly, fruit puree, as well as fruit and nut paste were produced in the countries during the month of February 2006, which is 11% compared with the previous month. In comparison with February of 2005 production has increase by 3.7 thousand tons or 2.5 times. During the first 2 months of 2006 production of jams, fruit jelly, fruit puree, as well as fruit and nut paste in Ukraine reached 11.91 thousand tons, while the past year's figures were much lower, only close to 4.98 thousand tons.
