Ukraine: the deficit for red cabbage is observed on market

According to information of the specialists of "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal, the deficit of red cabbage is observed now on the market of Ukraine. The wholesale prices for white cabbage do not exceed $0.15-0.17/kg; red cabbage is sold for $0.49-0.54/kg. Many shipments of this product are unique.

The market players say that many producers are trying to take the advantage of the positive price dynamics of red cabbage - they sell the small shipments of this product for maximum prices. They think they are able to sell red cabbage 20-30% more expensive than now.
