Ukraine: the price for bananas declines

The wholesale prices for bananas have decreased. This information is confirmed by the results of the wholesale price monitoring conducted by "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal. The wholesale prices for bananas have decreased 10-15% during the recent two weeks. Due to this fact, the banana price is again lower than the price for apple in the central oblasts of Ukraine. Apple is the main competitor of banana for the consumers' money. At the same time, banana is still more expensive than most apple varieties in the wholesale trade of the western oblasts.
