Another price jump for fresh herbs is recorded in Kyiv

According to information provided by the specialists of "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal, another price jump for parsley and dill is recorded on Kyiv markets. At the same time, the prices for green onion remain stable up to $2.4/kg.

The market players inform that the prices for parsley and dill have increased more than twice during the weekend, up to $5/kg and $8/kg respectively.

The specialists explain this circumstance by the reduced supplies of Italian fresh herbs: in the beginning of the previous week the oversupply of this product was observed on market. So, the specialists' forecasts regarding the dependence of the price changes for fresh herbs from the regularity of the product supplies to Ukraine are confirmed.

The prices for fresh herbs are not significantly changed in the other oblasts of Ukraine; they are kept on the relatively high level. Parsley is offered for sale for up to $7-9/kg; the wholesale prices for dill are around $9-11.4/kg.
