Austrians consider fruit and vegetable processing to be perspective agricultural industry of Ukraine

In the framework of the round table "Ukraine-Austria - what is to impede the cooperation?" Mr. Marcus Vuketich, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Austrian Republic in Ukraine said that agriculture is considered to be a perspective industry, in particular fruit and vegetable processing and concentrate production. Earlier the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine however, the foreigners and the national businessmen do not hesitate to invest money to this business.

To the opinion of the analysts of "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits", the produce processing industry is now on the stage of consolidation and the active change of owners. Large foreign and international companies really start to get interested in the produce processing in Ukraine. Flash freezing of vegetables, fruits and berries, produce-drying branches are actively developed. The journal experts believe that the investments to the produce growing are even more profitable at the present moment.
